Echologics recently attended the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), a global event for the water industry that showcased the latest technologies, best practices and economic opportunities. It is a strategic program launched by the Singapore government to promote the water industry and develop water technologies for the Asian region.

Echologics and its parent company Mueller Co. were proud to be Gold Sponsors and support numerous networking opportunities and private events with water stakeholders and executives. The event provided Echologics with the opportunity to showcase new intelligent approaches used in North America and Europe to manage aging water networks and reduce water losses and Asia.

Singapore International Water Week also served as the official launch event for ePulse technology to assess the condition of the region. The ePulse pipe inspection approach offers water companies a new tool to find water leaks while simultaneously determining the condition of underground water pipes - this lowers costs and enables quick inspection of larger parts of water networks. Several leading water companies in the area have chosen Echologics for leak detection technologies, Monitoring and condition assessment of small and large diameters and use them with great success. Last April, Ranhill Holdings Bhd's subsidiary, Ranhill Water Services Sdn Bhd (RWS), announced that it had partnered with Echologics to further develop its water loss management capabilities with the EchoShore-M technology platform.

Over 60 people took part in a Smart Water Workshop, which dealt with the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the water sector. The workshop included explanations on acoustic leak detection theory and condition assessment technology, the challenges with current best practices for IoT, global project examples and application experiences from local partners.
